"I have over 20 years' experience working in Residential Children's Homes caring for young people who have experienced significant childhood trauma and adverse childhood experiences. I began working as a Residential Care worker and have worked in a variety of settings from solo provisions to large multi-bedded homes. As my career developed I progressed to Registered Manager and have direct experience of running Residential Children's homes and successfully overcoming the challenges these can pose. I have been in Operational roles and Senior Management positions for 10 years in different organisations and have developed a keen interest in Positive Behaviour Support and the need to understand the triggers and causes of behaviour in order to help and support young people positively, which I believe will be of benefit to my role as governor."
