At St. Peter’s we strongly believe in the importance of inclusion and equality for all children. We strive to ensure that these values are at the heart of our SEND practices alongside our school values of love, peace, kindness, gentleness joy, patience, goodness, faithfulness and self-control.
Involving parents and children is crucial when making key decisions; this allows us as a school to give each child the best possible start and help them to reach their full potential.
We are committed to ensuring all staff have the knowledge and skills necessary to support children, including those with SEND, throughout our school and nursery, and all staff at St. Peter's are here to support any children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities. A key priority is to strive to develop children’s independence and support them to adopt an attitude of perseverance towards their learning.
Our school's dedication to providing an inclusive curriculum has been recognised nationally through our Inclusion Quality Mark Flagship School status.
